My husband does a huge amount around the house — I am a little ashamed to admit a completely disproportionate share. Whenever he’s out of town - like now - I really notice that I have to walk the dog, do the laundry, etc.
I’m a lucky girl. He really helps me get some time to chill out since I’m out of town 4-5 days a week. And we have a cleaning lady come once a week so we don’t have to fight about who does those mundane chores.
Maybe next time I’ll talk about how our split of chores ended up this way. In the meantime… do you practice an “equitable” separation of responsibilities?
