Guess What? Fish Are Not Swimming Vegetables (via rickr) I have never understood this either. I mean, in SF people who said they were vegetarians were careful to specify if they were vegans vs lacto-ovo vegetarians. Then I moved away from CA and suddenly self-proclaimed “vegetarians” were scarfing down fish and chips and saying things like, “I’m a vegetarian because I don’t eat meat.”
