drex: allcreatures: inothernews: It’s incredible to think that this this polar bear, named Mercedes, is experiencing “deep snow for the first time since leaving Canada 26 years ago,” according to the Telegraph.  She is at Highland Wildlife Park in Kincraig, Scotland, and seems to be having fun.  :-) (Photo of Mercedes the  Polar Bear doing her best “Bo” impression via the Telegraph) Mercedes, Britain’s only polar bear. Me: Look at this polar bear! Karim: What’s it doing? Me: It’s playing! It’s so cute! Karim: Polar bears don’t play. That polar bear needs to grow up and get a job.
