Personal Performance Review #4
This was not a good week for keeping resolutions. But I guess it’s all the more reason to keep pushing forward.
- Didn’t get home till Friday night, so I had fewer opportunities to walk the dog. Yesterday’s walk ended up being a rather leisurely stroll on Ocean Drive at the beach, and today I ran into a neighbor and ended up spending the whole time chatting with her before I had to head home for Sunday Pancakes
- Tuesday had a great yoga session, close to 30 min, but Wednesday no yoga (had an early team event at a shooting range). ThF did manage to squeeze in a little yoga in the morning. On the positive side my body has stopped aching every morning so I feel like progress is being made
- Still not drinking enough water; probably will re-introduce idea of drinking a glass or a bottle before I eat a meal
- Sugared beverage consumption was higher this week - couldn’t resist a hot chocolate one day, a SoBe beverage another day, a peach lambic during the Super Bowl
- … and ate quite a number of desserts this week. Each time may have been a reasonable portion but I want to cut back a little more. Way too much liberty with the cookie eating
- Still doing well on taking care of the teeth. Got the new electric toothbrush, and it’s both kind of fun and a nice way to make sure the teeth are getting cleaner
Haven’t weighed myself and I have to say I don’t look or feel any thinner. However, the clothes are fitting a little better so maybe the weight is getting a little redistributed. Trying not to feel discouraged by falling off the sugar horse but gotta just get back on and keep going. It’s a lifestyle change project and it’s not always going to be easy
