Three weeks into following my resolutions and it is still not quite routine. Turning new behaviours into habits is going to take a bit longer then.
- Having a short week made it easy to keep the dog-walking resolution MTFSS. Still the same walk as usual but at the new faster pace. Saturday was doggie playdate and we extended our exercise by walking there (and getting a ride back)
- Had a good yoga session on Wed - not sure how long, but included both standing and sitting poses and meditation / pranayama. ~5 min of yoga on Th to keep the resolution. Now I’ve found my travel yoga towel/mat and got some new yoga clothes so I’m set to get even more in the yoga mindset this week
- Not drinking enough water either at the client or at home. Need to amp this up…
- … but at least I’m still limiting sugared beverage consumption and resisting temptation of chai and hot chocolates. We’ve started making Italian sodas with our sugar-free syrups. Yum
- Once-a-week-dessert has been replaced with “reasonable portions of dessert.” I would say it’s going ok except that I occasionally feel I’m overdoing it
- Doing well on brushing, flossing and all… ordered a new electric toothbrush so stay tuned for a report on that next week!
